Responding to a Seizure

by Administrator 22. October 2009 11:06

One of the problems that have been reported in conjuncture with Hydroxycut use is seizures, which can manifest themselves in convulsions, uncontrollable movements, and alternate mental states.  Obviously, there are some health risks that attend these symptoms, and they can be dangerous if not treated quickly and correctly.  If you see someone going into a Hydroxycut-induced seizure, follow these steps:

  • Call 911 immediately.  While people with chronic conditions which induce seizures may not need medical attention, it's always better safe than sorry.
  • Keep the person calm and safe.  Have him or her lie down, and keep him or her away from any blunt objects which could cause injury.
  • While the common myth is that seizure victims will swallow their tongue and that putting something in their mouth will prevent this, this is actually not true.  They are far more likely to swallow something you put in their mouth than they are to swallow their tongue.
If you or someone you love has experienced seizures due to Hydroxycut use, contact the Hydroxycut attorneys of Williams Kherkher by calling 800-761-3187.
