After being voluntarily recalled by Iovate, Hydroxycut is back on the shelves. However, the dietary supplement has been reformulated and the name has been changed to Hydroxycut Advanced. Unfortunately, the maker, Iovate Heath Sciences Inc, still has not found the ingredient that causes liver failure among other medical issues.

Hydroxycut Advanced is currently being sold and advertised almost as strongly as its predecessor, Hydroxycut. The safety and efficacy of the new Hydroxycut Advanced has not been tested as thoroughly as it should have been, given the disasterous results of the original product. Unfortunately, governing laws surrounding the product do not require that testing.
