Jaundice and Hydroxycut

by Administrator 3. June 2009 10:11

Hydroxycut has been linked to jaundice among other medical problems by the FDA. Jaundice is basically a yellowing of the skin and eyes. It is caused by an excess of bilirubin, a waste product of red blood cells, in the blood stream. Generally the liver will excrete bile to counteract the buildup of bilirubin. However, when the liver is harmed, it cannot do that.

Jaundice, in addition to yellowing the skin, causes light colored stools, dark urine and itching. These issues are also linked to bilirubin buildup. While jaundice does not pose any real medical problems beyond the cosmetic, it points to a much larger and more dangerous problem. Any person who has jaundice is likely experiencing terrible liver problems.
